ALEJANDRO ZOZAYA RECEIVES “LA LLAVE DEL PROGRESO®”
AWARD AND DELIVERS ESTEEMED “XX MIGUEL ALEMÁN VALDÉS LECTURE 2009”

Philadelphia (October 2, 2009) - Alejandro Zozaya, president and founder of AMResorts, provider of brand management, sales and marketing services to the exclusive brands Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets Resorts & Spas and Dreams Resorts & Spas, was awarded “La llave del Progreso” (or, “The Key to Progression”) in the Hotel Entrepreneur category by AMAIT Abastecedores Turísticos A.C at the opening of Abastur® 2009, held in Mexico City. This award is granted annually to the business person whose hard work and dedication have contributed to the growth and development of Mexico’s tourism industry. Tourism Minister Rodolfo Elizondo, on behalf of Mexican President Felipe Calderon, along with Economy Minister Gerardo Ruíz, AMAIT President Guillermo Alarcón Koloffon and Chairman of the AMAIT Consultative Board Dr. David Babani, all presented Zozaya with the prestigious award.

Zozaya was honored with La Llave del Progreso in light of the impressive development of AMResorts and its three brands over a few short years, plus the timely and highly effective strategies implemented by his company to rebuild Mexico’s tourism industry following the outbreak of the H1-N1 flu epidemic.
